Agricantus
to kapela z Sycylii, grająca dość pogodną odmianę muzyki folkowej. W ich brzmieniach pełno jest przestrzeni i słońca, tak charakterystycznych dla tego zakątka Europy. Nic w tym dziwnego, bowiem punktem wyjścia do zabaw z muzyką jest tu właśnie bogata tradycja muzyki śródziemnomorskiej.
"Gnanzů" to trzeci album tej formacji, dziś zalicza się go do wczesnych dzieł zespołu, kiedy to grupa romansowała z transowymi, a nawet ambientowymi klimatami. Oczywiście wszystko to w akustycznych przestrzeniach współczesnej muzyki folkowej.
Album należy do tych płyt, które zapamiętuje się na długo. Świetne, skrzące się od pomysłów granie i wirtuozeria wykonań aż proszą o to, by uczynić z tej płyty wizytówkę sycylijskiej sceny folkowej. I dla mnie na pewno ten album czymś takim się stał.
Do najciekawszych momentów zaliczam tu doskonały utwór "S`arrossada", z niesamowitymi dudami, transowy "Balene" i ethno-jazzowy "Ninna Nanna". Gdybym miał porównywać, powiedziałbym, że Agricantus to sycylijskie Capercaillie.

This is an excellent CD. Cura's voice is unusually soft and caressing, much like it was on his most outstanding BOLEROS CD. His is without question the most unique tenor voice out there and Ewa.
